"You might not think that programmers are artists,
but programming is an extremely creative profession.
It's logic-based creativity."

I created a full scale web application using the Django Framework to allow users to keep track of NBA games and view current standings for both the Eastern and Western Conferences.
As a sushi chef of 15 years, I approach my life with the Japanese ideaology of Kaizen--"change for the better".
After being laid-off, due to Coronavirus, in March 2020, I knew I needed to commit to a new challenge in my life
and learn a new skill. I am a logical thinker who enjoys solving puzzles and finding creative solutions.
I am a recent graduate of The Tech Academy’s Software Developer Boot Camp, and have experience
in the following web and programming languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, C#, Python and more. I also have gained experience working with design patterns for building large scale interactive web applications
such as Python's Django Framework and ASP.NET MVC Framework for the programming language C#.
I am a full-stack developer
and would love to work with you on your next project. Contact me below!
I contributed to a Content Management System(CMS) as part of a development team to add requested features to a new website for a local theater here in Portland, Oregon. This web application was built using ASP.NET MVC and the Entity Framework.
When I am not actively learning new technologies or trying to build personal side projects, you can find me enjoying some of my hobbies.
I enjoy trailrunning, hiking with my dogs, playing soccer and almost any outdoor activity. I am also a bit of a gamer and actually hope to build a few video games of my own in the future!
