Technical Projects

During my internship with IT Prosper Consulting, I was able to fruitfully apply my newly gained technical knowledge to 2 Live Projects that emulated real working environments utilizing Agile and SCRUM processes.

Python Live Project

I created a full scale web application using the Django Framework to allow users to keep track of NBA games and view current standings for both the Eastern and Western Conferences.

About Me

As a sushi chef of 15 years, I approach my life with the Japanese ideaology of Kaizen--"change for the better". After being laid-off, due to Coronavirus, in March 2020, I knew I needed to commit to a new challenge in my life and learn a new skill. I am a logical thinker who enjoys solving puzzles and finding creative solutions.

I am a recent graduate of The Tech Academy’s Software Developer Boot Camp, and have experience in the following web and programming languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, C#, Python and more. I also have gained experience working with design patterns for building large scale interactive web applications such as Python's Django Framework and ASP.NET MVC Framework for the programming language C#.

I am a full-stack developer and would love to work with you on your next project. Contact me below!

Interests

When I am not actively learning new technologies or trying to build personal side projects, you can find me enjoying some of my hobbies.
I enjoy trailrunning, hiking with my dogs, playing soccer and almost any outdoor activity. I am also a bit of a gamer and actually hope to build a few video games of my own in the future!
